A Mountain Spirit Meets a River Soul
I have been blessed with an opportunistic impulsivity coupled with an unrelenting indecisiveness. If it weren’t for these qualities, I would have never found acting.
It was this indecisiveness that allowed me to fall in love with performing. I could be whoever I wanted to be while I was on stage. Theatre was satiating my desires to be a psychologist, a golfer-mom, a chef, a dancer, a song-writer - the list goes on.
Aside from the vicarious fulfillment of all my childhood career goals, the stage also developed in me a deep passion for making people laugh. The first time I made an audience laugh, my life changed. I knew that the audience, coming from around the country, regardless of their situation, for one moment - one single moment - felt alive! Knowing my cast mates and I played a role in that was one of the most rewarding feelings in the entire world.
